Our philosophy
All the versions of this article: [English] [français Send

Our philosophy is based on the fact that their no worthless profession. We consider that artisanal fisheries is a very important field in the economical and social activities of it actors and for their country.

It must be considered this way and take the first rank in matter of national and regional development policies.

We are fighting to keep it to an optimum activity level due to the essential contribution in providing the West African region with animal protein necessary for human food and due to the job it provides particularly to the women fish wholesaler, transformers and fish seller. Every one knows the main role of women as investments vehicle in the family in health, housing, education field, and so on.

We consider that the artisanal fisheries professionals must be at the core of all actions taken in this sector.

We believe that local valuation must be favoured and that experience exchanges are the very way of learning.
