WADAF is working for the advent of a society in which:

 Artisanal fisheries become an activity which contributes to the dignity of men and women who got it as a living, by the improvement of the their families and living conditions;

 Emerge, in the “artisanal fisheries” field appropriate professional organisations, independent and able to take themselves, their destiny and the defence of the community interest in charge;

 Is given to the artisanal fisheries and to the professionals of the field, the consideration which is due to them and where their count taking is assured in the national and regional development policies;

 Artisanal fisheries, its problem, its role and its potentialities be the object of open debates in the civil society as in the national and international policies scene.
