WADAF managing authorities are the General Assembly, the board of directors and the executive secretary.
The general assembly gathers once per two years.
The board of directors is elected by the general assembly. It gathers at least once a year.
The management of the association is assured by an executive secretary.
The financial management is done in accordance with the rules and procedures manual of administrative and financial management.

The diversity and the competences of the natural persons and WADAF NGOs members, the density of their combined experiences in organisation matter, the fisheries PO support-advice make of WADAF an expertise centre, a communication and initiatives taking vehicle among states in the West African region.
